Effective 1 January 2017, Felix Bingel-Erlenmeyer has joined Ahrensburg-based language services provider Wieners+Wieners as head of languages and QA. He is responsible for the department of languages and all of the areas in the company that work directly with text. The newly created position is a response to the continuously increasing demand from customers and the changing requirements that come with it.

Felix Bingel-Erlenmeyer’s responsibilities include the overall management of the German and English proofreading departments, data preparation and the freelancer management department. In particular, this will include the optimisation of internal processes and interfaces between production (languages) and service (customer consultants). Moreover, he will support the freelancer management department in its partnerships and collaboration with more than 1,000 freelancers in a management capacity. Along with the addition of the new department head, freelancer management has also been expanded in terms of personnel.

Mr Bingel-Erlenmeyer has many years of experience in the localisation sector and has held various leadership positions at the department level. Most recently he was team leader of the German localisation department at Kabam Games GmbH. As the new interface between company management and the customer consultants, he reports directly to managing partner Kai-Dominik Weyel.
